Annandale’s first production after almost 100 years. Each of these Single Cask-Single Malt bottlings is selected from just one of the 188 ex-bourbon casks filled in 2014. Not just a collector’s item – a terrific dram too!

Carefully chosen from our 2015 production, Jim Murray rated Annandale’s 2015 Man O’ Sword 96.5/100 and considered it the best Single Cask-Single Malt in the World – 10 years and under (2020 Whisky Bible). Aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.

Matured in sherry-conditioned American or Spanish virgin oak hogsheads, these are some of Annandale’s finest Single Cask-Single Malts to date. Smooth, complex and very well balanced!

Our tribute to the late Dr Jim Swan who, along with Miguel Martin, perfected the idea of rejuvenated shaved, toasted and re-charred (STR) red wine casks. Delicious, well-balanced and very fruity.

Take off with New Make Spirit…climb with 2015 Vintage bourbon barrel matured…cruise with 2015 Vintage sherry butt matured …gently descend into 2016 virgin oak hoggie matured…and finally come in to land with STR matured…Single Malts. VISIT ANNANDALE DISTILLERY
Established in 1836, Annandale is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. After closing in 1918 whilst under the stewardship of Johnnie Walker, Annandale Distillery was seemingly lost forever until lovingly restored by David Thomson and Teresa Church (Custodians of The Globe Inn) and finally ‘re-born’ in 2014. Only 17 miles from Dumfries, it’s well worth the trip.
